A twelve day journey to the world’s tallest mountain Mt. Everest, this trekking experience is a ‘bucket list’ adventure through Nepal’s most iconic tourist attraction.

Trekkers embark from KTM via plane to Lutkla, and begin their ascent up to Everest Base Camp, making stops in Namche Bazar, Tengbuche Monastery, Kalipatar and finally EBC.

It is designed for all ages and experience levels, and the core itinerary can be customized to include Gokyo Lake, Island Peak, Mt. Amadablam Base Camp etc.

12 Days Complete Plan

DAY 1 (Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft))

We'll take a thrilling 40-minute flight to Lukla, where our trekking adventure begins. From Lukla, we'll trek downhill towards the Dudh Koshi River and follow the trail to Phakding, a small village situated at an altitude of 2,651m.

DAY 2 (Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft))

We'll continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges and passing through beautiful pine forests. We'll arrive at Namche Bazaar, the gateway to the Everest region, known for its bustling markets and stunning mountain views.

DAY 3 (Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar)

Today is a rest day to acclimatise to the high altitude. We'll explore the town, visit the local market, and hike to the Everest View Hotel for panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We'll also visit the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery.

DAY 4 (Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft))

The trail ascends gradually with spectacular views of the Himalayas. We'll pass through rhododendron forests, cross suspension bridges, and reach the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region. We'll attend the evening prayer ceremony at the monastery.

DAY 5 (Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft))

The trail descends through forests and crosses the Imja Khola. We'll ascend gradually towards Dingboche, a beautiful village nestled in a high-altitude valley. Here, we'll enjoy breathtaking views of Mt. Ama Dablam and other surrounding peaks.

DAY 6 (Acclimatization Day in Dingboche)

Another rest day for acclimatisation. We'll take a short hike to Nangkartshang Peak for stunning views of Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and other peaks. Alternatively, you can explore the village or relax and prepare for the challenging days ahead.

DAY 7 (Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft))

The trail continues along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, offering striking views of the surrounding mountains. We'll pass through Thukla and hike up to the memorial site honouring climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From there, we'll trek to Lobuche.

DAY 8 (Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft) and Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft))

Today is a challenging but rewarding day. We'll trek to Gorak Shep and then continue to Everest Base Camp, where mountaineers prepare for their summit attempts. We'll navigate through rocky terrain and the Khumbu Glacier, taking in the awe-inspiring views of the Khumbu Icefall. After spending some time at Everest Base Camp, we'll return to Gorak Shep for an overnight stay.

DAY 9 (Hike to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) and Trek to Pheriche (4,371m/14,340ft))

In the early morning, we'll hike up to Kala Patthar, a renowned vantage point for breathtaking views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, and other Himalayan giants. After capturing the stunning sunrise vista, we'll descend to Gorak Shep and continue trekking down to Pheriche, where we'll spend the night.

DAY 10 (Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft))

Leaving Pheriche behind, we'll retrace our steps through Pangboche and Tengboche, enjoying the picturesque landscapes and passing by traditional Sherpa villages. The trail gradually descends, bringing us back to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stay.

DAY 11 (Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860m/9,383ft))

We'll descend further through the Dudh Koshi Valley, crossing suspension bridges and lush forests. As we approach Lukla, we'll reminisce about the incredible journey and spend the evening celebrating with our trekking team.

DAY 12 (Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu)

We'll take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, enjoying the aerial views of the Himalayas one last time. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure, allowing you to explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax.
