Langtang National Park is sure to set your heart afire. From quaint mountain villages to the majesty of snow-covered mountain peaks, the picturesque landscapes, rugged trails and swift mountain streams will leave you feeling revitalized and at one with the spirit of nature.

The trail is also a famous buddhist pilgrimage and the whole valley is prohibited to kill any beings and a safe haven for the animals.

8 Days Complete Plan

DAY 1 (Kathmandu to Syabru to Tiwari)

Begin your journey from Kathmandu and drive for approximately 8 hours to reach Syabru. From there, embark on a 40-minute walk to Tiwari, located at an altitude of 1500 metres.

DAY 2 (Tiwari to Lama Hotel)

Start your trek from Tiwari and trek for about 6 hours to reach Lama Hotel. Enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes as you ascend. Lama Hotel is situated at an altitude of 2470 metres.

DAY 3 (Lama Hotel to Langtang/Mundu)

Continue your trek from Lama Hotel and trek for around 8 hours to reach Langtang/Mundu. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Langtang region as you hike. Langtang/Mundu is located at an altitude of 3550 metres.

DAY 4 (Langtang/Mundu to Kyanjin)

Embark on a trek from Langtang/Mundu to Kyanjin, which takes approximately 3 hours. Experience the serene atmosphere and enjoy the stunning surroundings. Kyanjin is situated at an altitude of 3800 metres.

DAY 5 (Kyanjin to Tsergo Ri and back to Kyanjin)

Today, challenge yourself with a trek to Tsergo Ri, located at an altitude of 4980 metres. The hike and return to Kyanjin usually take around 7-8 hours. Feast your eyes on the panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks along the way.

DAY 6 (Kyanjin to Lama Hotel)

Make your way back from Kyanjin to Lama Hotel, trekking for approximately 8 hours. Take in the beauty of the landscapes as you descend. Lama Hotel awaits you at an altitude of 2470 metres.

DAY 7 (Lama Hotel to Syabru Bensi)

Resume your trek from Lama Hotel and trek for about 6-7 hours to reach Syabru Bensi. Enjoy the journey and immerse yourself in the natural surroundings. Syabru Bensi is located at an altitude of 1460 metres.

DAY 8 (Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu)

On the final day, drive for approximately 8 hours from Syabru Bensi back to Kathmandu. Relax and reminisce about the incredible trekking experience as you head to your hotel located at an altitude of 1200 metres in Kathmandu.
