Itenerary

Day 1

- Pickup from Airport.
- Check-in in the hostel.
- breakfast will be served.
- acclimatise.

Day 2

Start your journey early in the morning from Leh to Nubra Valley (approx. 120 km / 4-5 hours drive).
-Cross the famous Khardung La pass (one of the highest motorable passes in the world at an altitude of 18,380 ft) en route.
-Visit the Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest Buddhist monastery in Nubra Valley, famous for its giant statue of Maitreya Buddha.
-Enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes of Hunder, famous for its double-humped Bactrian camels.
-Overnight stay in a homestay in Nubra Valley.

Day 3

-After breakfast, leave for Pangong Lake (approx. 240 km / 6-7 hours drive).
En route, cross the Shyok River and enjoy the stunning landscape of the region.
-Reach Pangong Lake, one of the most beautiful and scenic high-altitude lakes in India, situated at an altitude of 14,270 ft and shared by India and China.
-Enjoy the mesmerizing views of the lake and surrounding mountains and take a walk around the lake.
-Overnight stay in a homestay near the lake.

Day 4

-After breakfast, start your return journey to Leh (approx. 160 km / 5-6 hours drive).
-En route, visit the famous Hemis Monastery, the largest and wealthiest Buddhist monastery in Ladakh.
-Reach Leh in the evening and spend some time exploring the local markets and trying out some local cuisine.
-Overnight stay in gutur house in Leh.

    Three pass trek

    Three pass trek is one of the best ways to explore the entire Everest region in one go. 17 days treks will walk you through all the major mountains and glaciers in the region, including Everest Base camp. I would say the best way to experience the Himalayas.
